For over three decades, Brad Bays has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With experience that spans throughout major shifts in the markets, Brad has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.

Brad began his career as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge through training in their highly respected Consulting Group. He co-founded the Mills - Bays Wealth Management Group of Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2001 to take a team approach to provide personalized financial advice for individuals, families, endowments/foundations and corporations. In 2002, Brad earned the CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) certification by completing an approved educational program from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements. In 2011, he co-founded Trinity Capital Management.

Brad’s passion for learning doesn’t end there. He is continually striving to improve his overall knowledge of economics and finance by extensive reading and study. In addition, he is an avid reader of history and has a passion for studying military history and the individuals that made America great. While earning his bachelor’s degree at Stephen F. Austin, he earned the President’s Award for Academic Excellence. After college, he settled in Tyler and, 30 years later, still loves all the city has to offer.

Away from the office, Brad spends his free time enjoying life with his wife Carleen and watching his two boys, Brit and Brooks, and his bonus daughter, Hillary, progress toward their work and family goals. He likes to stay active mentally and physically. Whether it is pursuing his passion for flying airplanes, working toward being a credentialed Sommelier (wine expert), working outside or just traveling and enjoying time with his family and friends, he keeps a very active schedule.  He is also active in the community serving as the Immediate Past President of the Children’s Advocacy Center and is a member of the Tyler Rose Festival Strutter Organization.
